We’ve almost achieved lift-off. Four more nights and then it’s Wedding Day.
Today I made the last arrangements with the hotel (a crib, so that toddler and babysitter can be comfy in our hotel room) and sent my brother the list of all the times people need to be in taxis (as well as what taxis they need to be in).
The “last” fitting on Saturday went well, but one piece needed to be taken in a little more, so it will be delivered to my parents’ place on Wednesday. I need to buy new pantyhose..
Beloved’s parents are flying in tomorrow. Let’s see how things will go.
I’m so glad I get to keep on working until Thursday. Less time to worry!
The Smitten Immigrant 
Oh counting there with you. Just take deep breaths, make lists if they give you peace of mind (I am not a list person, and those last days, it helped me to have everyhting on paper, since I was afraid to forget things), and most of all enjoy the time with your family and friends. You will see, wedding magic is really something. It is like walking on a cloud, and not because of all the materialistic cliches of the best day of your life , but because of all the love around you and because of all the effort coming back to you at once.
Awww 🙂 That is good advice. I think the lists are already done. I just have a small one for myself (get pantyhose, get a tiny mirror (optional), see the hairdresser, pick up overnight bag, make it to parents’ house, get some sleep).
I’m curious about tomorrow and everybody’s well wishes (including yours) make me so happy 🙂
